Each one opens at the exact moment you see here.
Look → Read → Weigh
Every lab works the same way. Look at the place, read the verses behind it, then weigh how sure we can be. Take the golden lampstand in the Tabernacle.

- 1 · Look
It stands in the Holy Place, on the south side, across from the table.
- 2 · Read
Exodus 25:31–40: one piece of hammered pure gold, a shaft with six branches, and seven lamps.
Each detail carries one of five labels, the same in every lab:
- Textually statedSix branches and seven lamps, with cups shaped like almond blossoms.Exodus 25:32–37
- Strongly supportedThe room it lit was 20 cubits by 10, worked out from where the veil hung.
- PlausibleAt night its seven lamps were the only light in the Holy Place, which had no windows.Exodus 27:20–21
- SpeculativeAbout 3 cubits tall. The Bible gives no height; this comes from the Talmud.
- ArtisticBranches that curve up in arcs, as on the Arch of Titus. Maimonides drew them straight.

Questions about Bible Labs
What are Bible Labs?
Bible Labs are free, interactive Bible study tools made by X-Dreamers. Some are 3D models you can walk through, like the tabernacle, Solomon's Temple and Noah's ark. Others are maps, timelines and charts, like Paul's journeys, the Bible family tree and the Hebrew word explorer. Each one keeps apart what the Bible says, what the model adds and how sure we can be.
Are the Bible Labs free?
Yes. Every lab is free, with no sign-up and no account. They open in a web browser, in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese (the children's Bible stories are in English for now).
Can I use Bible Labs in church or class?
Yes, please do: in a sermon, Sunday school, a small group or a school class. Teach mode gives you big text for the projector, clicker control and presenter notes. The permissions page says what you may print, project and share, and how to credit us. Using the labs for teaching →
Do Bible Labs work on phones?
Yes. The maps, timelines and charts work on any phone, and the 3D labs run on most recent phones and tablets. On an older phone, switch to Lite 3D or read the text version. When the 3D labs don't show →
