Rephidim
Also: Massah and Meribah · Wadi Feiran or Wadi Refayid (traditional)
The last camp before Sinai: there was no water, Moses struck the rock at Horeb, and Israel fought Amalek.
The people quarrelled and tested the LORD, so the place was named Massah ('testing') and Meribah ('quarrelling'). Numbers 33 lists Dophkah and Alush on the way there.

- SpeculativeLater tradition
Rephidim lay in the Wadi Feiran or the Wadi Refayid, a day or two from Jebel Musa.
A traditional identification that depends on Jebel Musa being Sinai. Dophkah has been linked with the Egyptian turquoise mines at Serabit el-Khadim (mafkat, 'turquoise'), also speculative.
