Marah
Also: 'Bitter' · Ain Hawarah (traditional site)
After three days without water in the wilderness of Shur, the people found water they could not drink. Moses cried to the LORD, was shown a tree, threw it in, and the water became sweet.
There the LORD made a statute and tested them, and called himself 'the LORD that healeth thee'. Marah means bitter.
