Daniel 5
At Belshazzar's feast the vessels from the Jerusalem temple are used to drink to the gods, and a hand writes on the wall: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. Daniel reads it: the kingdom is numbered, weighed and divided. That night Belshazzar is killed and Darius the Mede receives the kingdom.

How sure can we be?
- Plausible
Pas means the flat of the hand or foot, so the robe reached to the wrists and ankles.
Supported by Aramaic pas yeda (Daniel 5), the Greek of 2 Samuel 13:18 and the Greek versions of Aquila and Symmachus, but the Hebrew word itself is rare.
- Plausible
Long, with sleeves: A full-length tunic with long sleeves: the dress of someone who did not do manual work.
The best-supported reading of the word, with early Greek witnesses, but still resting on a rare term.
