Daniel 1

Daniel and his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah are taken to Babylon to be trained for the king's service. Daniel resolves not to defile himself with the king's food, asks for vegetables and water, and after ten days they look healthier than the rest; God gives them wisdom.
