Amos 5
A lament over fallen Israel. 'Seek me and live; do not seek Bethel.' Those who trample the poor and take bribes at the gate will not live in their houses of hewn stone. God hates their feasts: 'Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.'
